Beach Weddings in Antalya, Turkey

We plan symbolic beach weddings on the Antalya coast, from Lara and Belek to Side, Kemer, Alanya and Kaş. One local team handles the beach, decor, dinner and guests, for one flat fee.

Why Choose Antalya for a Beach Wedding?

Antalya is one of the easiest places in the Mediterranean to get married on the sand. The season is long, the sea is warm from late May to October, and Antalya Airport has direct flights from across Europe and the Middle East, so most guests arrive on a single flight.

The coastline gives you real choice. Wide sandy beaches in Lara, Belek and Side suit larger weddings, while the coves around Kemer and Kaş feel private. The Taurus Mountains rise behind much of the coast, so your ceremony photos have both sea and mountains in the frame.

Antalya also has the venues to match. Many resorts and beach clubs host weddings every week in season, with their own beach areas, kitchens, sound systems and indoor backup spaces. That makes a beach wedding here simpler to organize and easier to rescue if the weather turns.

Where Are the Best Beaches for a Wedding in Antalya?

Each part of the Antalya coast suits a different kind of beach wedding.

Lara: long sandy beaches about 20 minutes from the airport, lined with resorts and beach clubs. Best for easy guest travel.

Belek: wide sandy beaches backed by pine forest and five-star resorts. Best for large weddings with guests staying on site.

Old Town: a small beach club below the historic cliffs and harbor. Best for intimate ceremonies with history around you.

Side: soft sand close to the ancient town and its ruins. Best for sunset ceremonies with a historic backdrop.

Kemer: pebble beaches and coves under pine-covered mountains. Best for nature, boats and privacy.

Alanya: golden sand on Cleopatra Beach below the castle. Best for lively weddings and parties.

Kaş: turquoise coves and villa terraces over the sea, about 3.5 hours from the airport. Best for elopements and small weddings.

When Is the Best Month for a Beach Wedding in Antalya?

September and October are the best months for a beach wedding in Antalya: the sea is still warm, the midday heat has eased and sunset comes early enough for a relaxed evening. The full season runs from April to November.

April: about 21°C by day, sea 17°C, sunset around 19:30. Fresh and green, best for ceremonies without swimming.

May: about 25°C, sea 21°C, sunset around 19:55. Warm days and comfortable evenings.

June: about 30°C, sea 24°C, sunset around 20:15. Long evenings and reliably dry weather.

July and August: about 34°C, sea 27 to 29°C, sunset around 20:15 to 19:50. Hot, so we schedule ceremonies close to sunset.

September: about 31°C, sea 27°C, sunset around 19:05. Warm sea, softer heat and the highest demand.

October: about 26°C, sea 25°C, sunset around 18:25. Golden light and quieter beaches.

November: about 20°C, sea 22°C, sunset around 17:50. Mild, with more chance of rain, so a covered backup is essential.

What Happens If It Is Windy or Rains on the Day?

Every beach wedding we plan has a confirmed backup at the same venue, so your day goes ahead whatever the weather.

Rain is rare in Antalya from June to September, but spring and late autumn can bring a shower. Wind is more common: a sea breeze often picks up in the afternoon and usually eases toward sunset, which is one more reason we time ceremonies for the last hour of daylight.

Before you book, we agree a backup space with the venue, such as a covered terrace, pergola or indoor hall. We choose decor that can handle a breeze, with weighted arches, secured flowers and candles in lanterns, and we make the final weather call with you the day before.

How Do Guests Get to a Beach Wedding in Antalya?

Guests fly into Antalya Airport (AYT), which has direct flights from most European capitals and the Middle East in season.

From the airport, transfers take about 20 minutes to Lara and the Old Town, 30 minutes to Belek, 1 hour to Kemer and Side, 2 hours to Alanya and 3.5 hours to Kaş. We arrange private transfers for couples and guests, a shuttle between the hotel and the venue on the wedding day, and a welcome note with everything guests need to know before they arrive.

What Is Included in Our Beach Wedding Planning?

Our beach wedding planning covers everything from the first venue idea to the last song. We find, visit and book your beach venue and confirm what is allowed on the sand. We design and build the ceremony setup, from the arch, aisle and chairs to the flowers and sound for your vows, and arrange an officiant for a symbolic ceremony with personal vows and the rituals that matter to you.

For the celebration, we arrange dinner on the beach or a terrace above it, the cake and drinks, a photographer and videographer, and a DJ or live band. We also book hair and makeup, airport transfers and guest hotels, and our team is on site from setup to the end of the night.

Many couples turn their beach wedding into a full weekend, so we also plan henna and mehndi nights, welcome dinners and after-parties.

How Much Does a Beach Wedding in Antalya Cost?

The cost of a beach wedding in Antalya depends on four things: the venue, the number of guests, the dinner and drinks, and how much decor and entertainment you want. A sunset ceremony for two in a quiet cove costs a fraction of a three-day resort wedding for 200 guests, so we quote every wedding individually.

We work on a flat-fee system. You get one all-inclusive price that covers our planning and every supplier in your quote, with no hidden extras and no separate bills.

To lower the cost, choose a weekday from Monday to Thursday, pick April or November instead of peak months, and keep the guest list focused, since catering is usually the biggest cost.

Beach Wedding FAQ

Can you legally marry on the beach in Antalya?

Our beach weddings are symbolic ceremonies. Most couples complete the legal marriage in their home country before or after the wedding, then celebrate on the beach in Antalya with an officiant, personal vows and their own traditions.

Do we need a permit for a beach wedding in Antalya?

Beaches in Turkey are public, so most beach weddings take place at resorts and beach clubs that manage their own beach area. We confirm what each venue allows, and arrange any permissions, before you book.

What time should a beach wedding ceremony start?

About 60 to 90 minutes before sunset. The light is soft, the heat has eased and the sea breeze is usually calmer. From June to August, that means a ceremony at around 18:30 to 19:00.

What should we wear for a beach wedding?

Light, breathable fabrics work best. Many brides choose a flowing dress without a long train, and grooms a linen suit. On sand, guests are most comfortable in flat sandals or block heels, and on pebble beaches flat shoes are a must.

How many guests can a beach wedding in Antalya have?

Anything from two to 300 or more. Coves and villas suit up to about 40 guests, beach clubs around 50 to 200, and resort beaches in Belek and Lara can host 300 guests or more.

Can we have music and a party on the beach?

Yes. Most beach venues allow live music and a DJ, but many limit amplified sound late at night. We plan the timeline around each venue's rules and can move the after-party indoors to keep it going.

Can our guests stay at the beach wedding venue?

Yes, at most resort venues. Guests can stay at the hotel and enjoy the beach all weekend, and we arrange a room block at a group rate so everyone stays close to the celebration.

Do you plan multicultural beach weddings?

Yes. We plan Persian, Arab, Pakistani, Turkish and mixed-culture beach weddings, with the rituals, music and menus that matter to both families. We work in English and Turkish.
